Nací en San Sebastián, ciudad costera del norte de España y zona de convivencia lingüística hispanovasca. Soy Educadora Social, Psicopedagoga y tengo un Máster en Cooperación Internacional. Precisamente en una de mis estancias en el extranjero como voluntaria, tuve oportunidad de empezar a dar clases de español. Fue en Egipto, en el año 2012. Esa primera experiencia como profesora de español supuso un antes y un después. Empecé a formarme mientras trabajaba, asistí a congresos, obtuve mis acreditaciones de examinadora del Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera. Después de 3 años de experiencia laboral y formación específica, llegó la oportunidad de trabajar en la Universidad 6 de Octubre de El Cairo. Y de ahí, a hacer exámenes oficiales (DELE), trabajar en San Sebastián en un centro acreditado por El Instituto Cervantes y viajar a República Dominicana para enseñar Lengua Española y Literatura a adolescentes en una escuela nombrada centro de excelencia.
